Hi,
I have received this German KK rifle, in caliber .22 lr.
I don't know what it actually is ?
Is it a WWII training rifle, transformed for hunting ?
The only visible markings are : PATRONE .22 LONG RIFLE
And the MAUSER emblem on the butt-plate.

Are modern Mannlicher-stocked rifles less accurate? I have seen several "claims" that full-stock Mannlicher style centerfire rifles tend to drift from zero when they are fired several times in succession (thereby heating the barrel), such as at a shooting...

I would love to hear your reccomendations. I have owned a Ruger 10/22, and while they are great rifles, not what I am interested in at this time.
I would LOVE to be able to afford a Winchester model 62, or even a clone but I cant tie that much money up...

While I have a lot of nice rifles, my favorite is my Krebs AK74k.
Impossible to pick 'one'!!!! I'll let you know as soon as I get a .22 LR match rifle be happier.

If you were big into outdoors camping and recreation and practically lived your life outside all the time, what all purpose rifle would you use? Anything from occasional plinking to killing animals for food to whatever.

Or 410/22 hornet is what they come in, it might be another also .
Rounds down range and that equals improvement Squirrels, Jackrabbits, or "bunnies" = .22 LR is a nice one if you can find one 410/ 22.

Current best budget Rifle for your survival stores Has got to be the Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30. Some local gun shops have them for under $100.00 and surplus ammo is available pretty cheap also.
They are also on offer from some of the gunboard sponsors...
