I cant off hand think of anyone if you want wood or synthetic....but ....
You could probably get one made by the custom shop.
I dont believe savage offers an open sights option on any of there standard bolt guns anymore.
You atleast that.

Savage Model 10 FCP #19058S
24....
Enjoy...
The savage is supposed to be a little more accurate out of the box, but I do not own one, so can't comment.
The Remington is more customizable, has more aftermarket stocks and parts availalbe .

For hunting, my 280 likes the Hornady Custom and Superformance 139gr SST the chambering in a pair old Ruger 77 MKI's.
For hunting, my 280 likes the Hornady Custom will probably be superior.
And barrel life will probably be superior.

Savage Model 99
Lately I've been wanting a Savage model 99, I really don't know why. Trying to decide on a caliber and am back and forth between 30-30 and .308. The 30-30 in the rotary magazine would allow me the use of the same pointed bullets that ...

Served my family for 60 plus....
I own a 99 in 300 savage, love it too.
A Savage 99 made in the Savage custom shop in the 60's, but my self I'd opt for the 30-30 since I never seen one.
That I may be the owner of a one of a kind .

It shot right with my full custom 7mm rem.
A friend of mine has one in 6.5-284.
They're a solid rifle.
I would own one but my complaint is that it only has 24.
Of coarse it shoots, It's a Savage.

Bump for a great guy to deal with! "The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own .
