Hi to all, Just wanted to see if anyone has the M-AUDIO AUDIOPHILE 2496 pci soundcard, working.
If so can you give some tips on how you got it working.

I just purchased an Audiophile 2496, ART tube preamp, and Behringer B1 to record some acoustic guitar on my pc, which meets all requirements necessary to support this audio card, including 128 meg of RAM. I have already recorded some pretty good sounding...

pedro I purchased a new Audiophile 2496 card recently, and it worked to consider: did you install the drivers that came bundled with the 2496, or did you download the newest ones from their site? Many times....

Probably asking a silly question here.
Got an Audiophile 2496 recently and just installed it and I have a set of cheap M-Audio BX5a. There are Phono outs on the Audiophile but the BX5a's need a TRS jack or XLR. Will they work together asuming the BX5a...

As they are unbalanced (....
You need a pair of unbalanced RCA > TRS cables. .
A phono to phono lead with jack adapters might be the simplest ?
Beware of levels though when hooking up and testing .
I think I'm right in saying the BX5 has jack inputs too .
