Will backtrack not run on my 64 bit system?
Plus as far as I know having a 64 bit capable processor doesn't matter. What matters is if the distro was built as a 64 bit distro which backtrack was not. There are specific kernel configurations for 64 bit and to my knowledge if they are not present a 64 bit capable machine will simply boot as 32 bit. I have a quad core desktop that runs 64 bit gentoo and a core 2 laptop that runs 64 bit gentoo and both of them boot the bt3 and bt4 live discs perfectly. source
Steam Install?
I bought HOI3 on steam and it came with HOI2 complete pack. Its split into HOI2 Complete Pack and Arma, How do i install this mod through steam? source
Fallout 3- what should I know?
The ranger lady bug occurs when you warp to the ranger's farm, an enemy attacks, and you enter the building without dealing with the enemy. Happened to me when a giant radscorpion assaulted me and I went inside without dealing with it. She promptly ran outside and ran off never to be seen again. Just kill anything that attacks you BEFORE going in to see her, you should be fine. source
Any Linux nerds out there?
I've had similar issues as i recall the virtual machine doesn't detect the wireless card as wireless it just detects it as a standard network connection, not sure if there is a way to change that. I didn't mess with it too much i Just booted into backtrack as it's a live disk, problem solved. source
Whats so great about linux?
For a while I've wanted to actually use linux and get to know it better, but there's really no chance of me using it for anything unless there's no way to do it in windows. So last night on a whim I downloaded backtrack and ran it on an old laptop and got my neighbors WEP key. That was kinda neat but not very satisfying since I just had to use the few tools and hardly had to interact with linux at all. So I'm wondering, what else can you do in linux that's not practical to do in windows? And what's a good distro of linux thats, well, not too easy to use? source
