To be honest, Metroid Prime 3 is the only instalment that I've played through and finished....
I then played Metroid Prime 3, and it was good.
Overall, not as good as Metroid Prime 2, by a long shot.

Prime 3 was bad enough that I'd rather not see another first-person Metroid for awhile.
I love Metroid Prime and Prime 2 Echoes, but Prime 3 Corruption was such a disappointment.

From The outstanding music, atmosphere, gameplay and replayability this game is close to perfection in my books.

I found it in a pile of old video games we had lying around; had no idea my brother ever bought it.
It is so Damn good. Everything feels so comfortable with the wii mote. Plus it came with 1 at 2 (primes) with updated controls. FUCKING OUTRAGEOUS!!!
