Best beginning rides for 3 and 5 year olds?

My little one (3 year old girl) absolutely of the Carribean all have scary elements that might freak out your 3 year old.

Thinking of doing a movie birthday party for my son and not sure if Madagascar 3 would interest his friends. Ds is fine with seeing it but he will watch anything! Another option is the Avengers but not sure if that is appropriate either and may not interest...

You could glue the sticks on before they get them, or use hot glue when they have decorated them... .
Or yoghurt pots on sticks would be really easy for them .
Get some stick things for eyes and draw on a mouth etc... .
