Traveling to UK and thinking of getting a dual sim adapter to use with my iPhone while in UK
I am wondering whether this bypasses Apple's carrier exclusivity settings and how efficient is the Divert function ?

I received an iPad 2 for Christmas and lately have been thinking I might like to put a SIM card to ocassionally connect to the 'net when I'm not in range of a WI-FI.
Am I correct in believing I can only choose between Bell and Rogers?

Probably done and pick up a new ....
When you put a 3G sim into a 4G card the APN gets
dummied up.
If not, you can go to any AT&T store find some tutorials .
To use the SIM card, but need to activate a data plan.

I'm a clumsy ass and I dropped my 4 and it cracked the back pretty badly and now it's dead. Oddly, it was fine for a few hours; I could take pictures, make calls, txt, etc ... but then it just died.
I'm not eligible for an upgrade for a another 5 months...

My iPhone 4 took a dip in the pacific, I made an adapter for my old 3G by cutting a credit-card nothing to do with the age, just the fact that the SIM for a 4 or 4S is a micro sim and won't fit a 3Gyour carrier should....

My mate bought a 2nd hand iphone3G and is wondering if his old sim card will work in it.
I have an iphone 4 and know its a micro sim. Not sure of 3G.
Also, can he continue using his PAYG "tariff" or will he need to contact o2 to move onto an internet/...

How old is the SIM?
I had issues with an older 02 SIM which was supposedly 3G enabled, if his SIMIf the iPhone....
The 3G took the more standard mini-SIM so that shouldn't be an issue.
Depends on what he currently gets.

I'm looking for more information about Thai 3G sim card and prepaid plans.
The idea is to get a prepaid 3G sim card that I can top-up during my stay in Thailand hopefully easily along the way.

3G Thailand do not have 3G yet I have an IPhone and you can use it with any pre-paid sim get a DTAC 'Happy SIM' for 99baht including 30baht of calls...

I then took out the SIM and still was able to use the....
That being said, I was also previously able to use another iPhone 3G with a SIM card that didn't and it activated fine got push notifications fine.

I think available.
You can get a sim card in India and cut it to micro size router is an alternative, perhaps not the cheapest but could be the easiest to obtain and use.
With a chip slot you have a start.

Of authenticating the customer onto the 3G network then the SIM will have no other bearing sure what it is you're trying to find out about the difference between 2G and 3G SIM's.

No idea how expensive it would be to use European SIM cards expensive it would be to use European SIM cards (roaming), but I am currently using prepaid....
