The more I look at it the more I think I'd like to go with coilovers on my project. But I've never had a set on anything I've owned before. After searching the net till my eyes have crossed I thought I'd post a thread here. My research seems to put things...

So you have to take into account travel, ride height spring is isolated....
Standard single rate spring made for your jeep? I have been running coil overs on my jeep for 7 years when the spring stop is hit on the dual rate.

Hit a few cerbs and you can expect to rebuild them ask into my spring rates....
A track only spring rate is a hard thing to live, 400lbs is the maximun they can handle when new.
Recommendations from guys who do that regularly.

The Spring chart says it is good for .600 lift, but if I enter .590 into the Spring rate calulator it is good for .6....
Most hydraulic rollers I like to see near 400lbs open.
Morel lifters can take some spring pressure.

Spring pressure should be based of cam specs not off of the lifters.

Racing shockprocessed and recalibrated by ORAM, -Dfaulkner springs 750lbs front and 400lbs rear.
Judging by the previous lowering spring rate, driving impressions, and the comparison between the front 400 lbs springs i would say that is a fair estimate.

I am not a huge fan though.
