Has anybody used these for a hunting or sport shooting purpose? The short seems like a .44 Russian or .45 Schofield powerwise to me, but the long approaches on .44 Maggie muzzle energy, but from ...

You can also shoot .44 Special in them .44 Evans ammo....
That's approaching a .44 anything a .44 Mag carbine wouldn't do way better for hunting.
And I seriously doubt a round moving 200 fps could generate 905 ft/lbs of energy .

Can anyone explain to me the difference between a 44 magnum and a 44 special? I know it has something to do with either the diameter or length of the bullet casing, (I hope, if not i'm wayyy off).
Just wondering, because I have my eye on several 44 Remington...

If you've never shot full throttle 44 magnum....
You can shoot 44 specials in a 44 mag but not visa-versa.
Bullet diameter is the same.
The 44 Rem Mag case is 1.280" while the 44 Special is 1.152".
A very good question Chris.

I'm renting a virtual machine, running Ubuntu 9.04. I installed the SUN JDK 6.0 (via apt-get) and Tomcat 6.0.18 (via unzipping).

Find out where the -Xmx is coming from:
find /your/install....
-J options are for passing args via a wrapper/launcher to the JVM, I've not seen this on Tomcat .
Javac generally spawns a separate process which should fall underneath different process rules .

If you write 8:32:44 it automatically detects.
