Not pretending it is worth anything as an image, but just got my 450D back and wanted to show something :). A friend of mine modified it with clear glass for astro and IR use.

Hi all,
I'm considering an upgrade to a better DSLR, currently using a Nikon D40. This is only 6mp and very noisy
Wanting to move over to a Canon, narrowed it down to the 450D and the 1000D. I mainly go after DSOs and would get it modded further down ...

However there's a price difference....
The 450D is probably better than the 1000D.
But really chuffed with some test shots, from last week .
I am really impressed with it yet.
I can't speak for the 450D but I use my 1000D with a 150P and it's great.

Never was much on introductions so straight in at the deep end!!
The time has come to upgrade from my 450D to 60D? 7D?? break the bank but probably dreaming 5D mk11???
