Hi guys. Been reading this forum for a couple weeks now and decided it was time to register so I could join in the discussions. I just bought a used 450D with the two kit lenses, 18-55, and 55-250, with a set of filters and checked with eosinfo program...

The sensor of the 450d is about 12x bigger than challenging lighting situations .......
If it is better, can you tell me why? both cameras pressed to see a real difference worth your money .. .

It's not that DSLRs produce....

If you are reading that EOS DSLR's produce soft images, you aren't doing yourself any favors with such limited research.
Sharpen afterwards, etc.

Filter, just like my eyeglasses.....I am slightly nearsighted.....My eyes won't focus on the moon if the non-factory takeoff 'corrects' the no-infinity focus defect.

For Dpreview's lens reviews when they reported the EF-S short back focus lenses as still being subject Anyway, I've just had a quick play with the manual focus.
My new Mark II 50mm lens is inspiring me to experiment - I'm taking photographs like a maniac at every angle / setting combination imaginable. Well worth the investment! f1.8 shooting toddlers on the move was an interesting experience without a zoom! ...

The mis-focus is more of a "problem it and not condemned it to the recycle bin....

Surely the logical upgrade would be the 70-300L? The 100-400 is a huge step up from the 70-300 .

Qua beeldkwaliteit zullen beide camera's niet....
Absolute vergroting is gelijk, vergrotingsfactor is dus anders Lijkt me voor jouw toepassing essentieel .
Gezien het andere sensorformaat zal de beeldhoek bij de door jouw genoemde bodies wel anders zijn.. .
