I really like this image.
Not working for me....
Mark to much distraction, glare, overexposed, Not able to focus on any point.
From the front, the front ones look a shade soft to me.

Both zooms I think have fairly good close ....
Close focus is another issue.
As you already have a 70-300mm zoom, you value versatility then one of the zooms might suit you best .
At 300mm, than a slightly soft shot taken at 400 or 500mm.

You may want your laptop for that.
Jerking out for wobbly lens barrel and some strangely soft corners.
The lens should zoom and manually focus smoothly....
And there are no mis-aligned elements within the lens.
