4K won't a LOT of sub 50" 1080p sets ....
Like others have said, 1080p is "mainstream" due to a number of factors .
Not for the home and smaller pixels at us.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for "better", but 4K isn't it.

I am highly anticipating this TV. I hope that it is affordable.
Having 4K resolution is great for multiple reasons that I can think of:
- Full 1080P resolution for each eye in passive 3D

I could not find any reference to 4K resolution or to 2K(1080P) resolution from the link provided is.

When do you think they will launch a 4K or 3840x2160 optical disc (or other physical) consumer media format with pre-recorded content. eg. like Blu-ray 4K?

Why would I be happy with just 4k? If you have 20/20 vision and watch native 8K4K (7680x4320) resolution source material on a 100" (or smaller) 8K4K resolution display....

C500
$25,000.
4K at 120fps with EOS RAW via 3G HD-SDI.
At 60 fps EOS RAW from the C500 is 12 bit. This drops to 10 bit at 120p.
C500 resolutions: 1080p, 2K and 4k.
4K 1D:
$10,000.
Full frame and does ALL-I, IPB and MJPEG 4K.
Both the C500 and 4K EOS DSLR...

Does anyone know of a receiver that has both 4K passthrough AND bluetooth support?
I found a Yamaha RX-V573 that has 4K, but I can't find anything about bluetooth.
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sure they still have the 4K master copies.
So is already done in 4K resolution.
There is no receiver with 4k resolution passthrough yet as the standard hasn't been finalized.

It might support 4k ....
The PS4 will probably support 4K resolution games.
I believe the PS3 will support 4K (pictures and 2D video) and 1080P 3-D by the end of 2011.
