I have a Nokia N73 and a SU-33W, and I was thinking about upgrading, but according to the Nokia SU-33W support pages very few phones support the device (or DVB-H in general for that matter).

The N73 is based on several versions of Symbian and S60 earlier than the 5800, so be needed for the 5800.
At least additional software would be needed for the 5800; i.e., the SU-33W hardware on its own on the 5800 or not.

Hi, i have a nokia 5800 and i downloaded its software and installed the ovi maps with free navigation and its working but i cant get my position, it says searching but nothing happens.

Welcome to the forum!
Try going to Menu > Applications > Location > Positioning > Positioning methods - only ENABLE Integrated GPS and go outside away from tall buildings for about 20 - 30 minutes ... .

In terms of hardware, Vivaz wins hands down.
But it seems that Nokia 5800 got more fans, why so?
What about custom firmwares, apps, games, which one has better performance?

Vivaz processor is 720 MHz, 5800 processor is 434 MHz..
