I've tried.
Now i'm on 5.50 psp and I can't install cfw, it gives me a data corrupt message.
Then it should go to F/S mode (it did for me, I've also used a iPod video 5G to get to F/S mode to work.

Well, that's easy, just use any iPhone backup software and your job is done. And if your iphone backup software is working bit slow then go through the article - Resolve Slow iPhone Backup Process .
