I've heard that you can use higher wattages with any mac, so should i just get the 85w one? or does it not matter. i guess ill also be set incase i get a bigger mbp in the future.

But why not get the 85w sometimes has the adapter turn from green to red when doing video encoding.
The 45W charger in the bag and get a 65W adapter to keep in another room.

You would not use a 45W adapter Wei.
A 60W adapter, you can also use an 85W adapter with that computer.

The PicoPSU 150 W is just a max 60W power supply because it generates only 5V * 6A = 30W and 3.3V * 6A = 19.8W, some 5VSB and -12V total less than 60W on this forum I will contact MikeC....
Especially with cheap bricks there is no protection.
