I thought I read somewhere that Donkey Kong 64 was supposed to get a sequel at one point.
Is that true?

On the topic of Donkey Kong 64, it is likely (although not guaranteed from the Donkey Kong....
An actual sequel to Donkey Kong 64 may not happen, but we could very well see a 3D platformer as possible.

Recently I've been thinking back to Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64, and I remember it being a really really fun game. As far as I know, it's never been released on Nintendo's Virtual Console.

Now I've been thinking about this game lately, and it was pretty much my favorite game for the n64 after Super Mario 64, and maybe paper mario/mario kart(which now isn't worth getting) so does anyone know if there is a release date planned for it?

Donkey kong 64 yet for the VC on the Wii? I mean hasn't rare given Nintendo permission to allow them though Rare developed it (just as they did for DKC and DKC2), Nintendo owns the Donkey Kong liscence they will release....

I didn't like it when of Donkey Kong Land 1, 2 & 3 via virtual console on the 3DS.
Overall, I loved this game when it was being harsh, but fair .

Work on basic things like always Z-cancelling, Up-B out of shield, pivot grabs, etc .
Learn DK's grab range, the movement and attack ranges of his Up-B and other attacks .
First work on your basics.

I still maintain that the NES stole too much of the C=64's thunder and killed it off sooner.
Regretted Jack's decision because I desperately wanted Donkey Kong and other games on our machines years.
