Worked so well, I cant imagine the 650b wheels being any better, but I will give it a go soon with the 650b wheels off my Ragley.
Got my first ride on my new 5 spot today, I used 26" wheels.

Call me crazy, but I am curious to know if the new Endorphin was designed with 650B wheel size in mind? The Knolly website states that a 26 x 2.5 will fit, so it may be possible with a 2.3 and 650 rim.
I am just throwing around different ideas for a trail...

Thinking along the lines of tyre size, the usual starting point is that 26" accelerates better but 700C will roll better (so have an advantage over a greater distance).
Is 650b just a happy medium between the two?

Looks like I should sell the xtr wheels and build up some Stan's 650b.
But am planning to build a rear 26 inch for DH park use for the input .
I sold my 26 inch wheels long ago.

It would lower the BB from the 650b rear wheel height to almost stock 26 cornering 26 inch front wheel....

650B hatten alte quasi vom Umfang fast 650b und ein....
As a bike designer I knew this wheel size could offer many of the benefits of 29 inch wheels, war wirklich sehr konstruktiv.

We're starting to spec out parts for the Soma Buena Vista build. I'm really wondering if I wouldn't like the smaller wheels. Less toe overlap and the possibility of wider tires, if I want. Any thoughts?

It's not a big deal if you don't want to put on fenders, but as I need fenders with 700c wheels and I am sometimes regretting not getting the 650b wheels.
