Got a score watch alert today..myscore is now 698 with Equifax.
is there a thread that gives a list of what scores are a must for different credit cards.
I know its not only about score but it should be an approximate score.
For eg amex could be 690+ ...

How would you maximize the following Revolving Credit in order to maximize FICO score? I am cloing on a home in August so I have the time and available funds to do whatever it takes to optimize my score. Obviously there isn't a whole lot I can do here...

I run about 1% right now and just hit my all time high of 813 on eq NO POINT INCREASE .
02/27/12 ~ EQ 654, TU 655, EX 665 (Bank Pull: Kroll Factual Data)
04/26/12 ~ EQ 712 score in a positive way.

If you really want a Capital One credit card, maybe wait a couple a years to start with a credit union.
I don't know that opening a checking account with Capital One will help you re-establish a credit relationship with them.

Lower your score a bit the next time you pull.

Are credits cards still wiped to zero with the new bankruptcy laws. when i filed 10 years ago bankruptcy wiped out my credit card debt to zero.
