Finished building a budget 700P custom in a .338LM and got it dialed in and now im ready to step up to somethin a little more suited for long range.
been lookin into the Barrett 98 Bravo, Sako TRG 42, and Savage 110BA. just tryin to get an idea...deffinately...

A Sako TRG is a fine rifle, but ....
It seems to be the most convenient one.
I would go the route CrazyDonkey described.
If I were you I would upgrade the stock, get it bedded if the stock you choose needs it, get the action trued and upgrade the trigger .

So, I have narrowed my choices down to a Remington LTR .308 and a Mil Spec 5R .308. So which way from there? If it was soley based on price I would go with the LTR, and if that was the problem I would choose the 700P over the LTR just to save the money...

The 5R, LTR, and 700P all money and skills grow.
When I say 700P I'm referring to the 700 Police model, not the sps with the Hogue stock.

Self aggravation, don't buy the 700p! Just read a few of the comments here and that should tell you post before I made the decision to go with the 700p, I got it and I love it! I am very familar I had read all of these posts before I got....

I have a Road Runner account and I am trying to setup my POP3 on my 700p (SprintPCS). I have the POP settings correct as the device is downloading emails properly, but I tried several different SMTP settings and I cannot get any emails out.
