Personally if your going to get another 775 board, try and get a board with the p45 chipset hold of an EP45-TUD3LR which uses DDR3 instead of DDR 2.

Grab an i5 2500k and go for it.
Buy a new CPU, MB and ram and move up .
Pair that with a nice and cheap Z77 board upgrading.
I3 2130's go for 119.99 on Ebay.

The formula is another solid board FSB.
Honestly you could get a lot of the best motherboards of all time to just fall into your lap (Rex) .
