Here's a stupid question i had a pentium d 805 for years and recently i found out that it ate a lot
.) is it possible to lower my fsb from 133(qpi 533mhz) to 66(qpi 266mhz)?
i dont care about
best judgment to determine the true vcore), then pad mod the D 805 to read a lower vcore. Usually

as fast as P-D 805 is now cheap ...anyone know of a 533mhz to 800mhz FSB BSEL mod? Wouldnt

Pentium D 805 2.66GHz/533 FSB running smooth @ 3.06GHz
ASUS Silent Square CPU cooler
Mushkin DDR2
than 1066 FSB. And i can't adjust the voltages at all, but i doo have acess to all the memory timings
,that was a fast response. I thought there'd be a conflict with a 1333MHz CPU and a 1066MHz FSB

And the video card.
I have a 8800gt vid card
and a Pentium D 805 CPU
I was thinking maybe the e8600
to be overclocked in the 1066 strap anyway. You'll never get that much FSB out of it anyway. It takes
some MCH voltage to keep an i975x stable at and past 400 FSB. Remember that the i975x was designed

The impression that i could start with a Pent D 805 2.66GHz/533 FSB and when CPU/Memory prices came down
in speed is possible because the side of the box says it'll support a D 805 to a Kentsfield Q6600.
Which

CPUM x FSB
where CPUM is the CPU Multiplier, and FSB is the front side bus.
P-D 805 @3.6ghz, 8N-SLI, 2x512mb PQI 667mhz, 7800GT, WD 160GB
PD 920@3.2ghz, Asus P5P800-SE, 2x512mb
and ~390MHz with C2Q without any special mods. The guys over at XS seem to really like it over most
