Was excited to see Dave Lemeux (spelling?) state in a recent interview that they are going to release an '83 show.
Sure would be nice to hear a good recording of Red Rocks 9/8/83 Dave!! The Scarlet Fire from this show, especially the peaks at the end ...

I want to go a different direction and would like to move him today. Won't pay any money but if you need a starter or bench piece or have the payroll to take him, I could throw you a prospect.

What are the differences or changes that were made between '83 QV's and '85 QV"s ? I had an '85 and a friend of mine is considering buying an '83 and was curious as to the differences. Any particular problems/weal links in '83's?

16" wheel....
I love it No rust protection on the 83's I think there is a minor proofing and they had a smog pump on the 83', not sure if 83's had 16" wheels.

My 83 rotors are too large in diameter for the r6 upgrade. (Found 89 forks and r6 calipers) Any recommendations on rotors that fit the 83 wheel but have small enough diameter. Current rotors are 297x8.

Slowly but surely... Heres my 83, bought it almost exactly a year ago. Heres how it looked the day after i boughts it
First thing i did was put some 13's on it
Made up a panel for 2 12's and an amp with my pops
Then put on a billet grill

Can I fit 33/12.5 on an 83 f150? The front is stock height and the rear has about 2in of lift to level it out. If not what's the biggest I could go without scrubbing

Also, they do come close to the front bumper, so I built 1-1/2" spacers... .
They cleared the fenders fine, but would rub the radius arms at full lock of the steering .
I ran 33s on a stock 84 F150 and a couple Broncos that I had in the past with no problems .

Will 18x11 (63mm offset) / 18x8 (45mm) bbs hollow spoke spprt technos fit my 83, with spacers?

If you get the spacing spot on you should be able to squeeze the 11s back there, but you are most likely going to need custom spacers to make it work because the 11s would... .
Found this picture of a later car, but unsure if it'll work on my early.. .
