If a given Wing`s build date is 6/81, and the model year is 1982, and the bike has a `83 fuse box, does the owner / mechanic use a `82 wiring diagram or an `83? Somebody posted recently about a problem he`s having and this question came to mind. Anybody...

I agree.
That said, the wiring really didn't change THAT much between model years in the 1100 .
If the model year is an 82 then you should go by the 82 wiring diagram .

The 200ES stuff does not fit.
As long as theya re both 200E bikes, your fine .
