1999 chevy astro van awd ls 108,000 miles.
Not to discourage you, but putting a 9 inch Ford rear end is a rather large and groceries for what that Ford 9 inch would set you back.
And will last a very long time.

Here is a couple of shots....
28 spline and 31 spline will be different.
There are 2 offered by Ford.
Do both 9"s have the same bearing ends on them? If so, just swap the 3.50 ring gear onto the posi the axles fit the traction loc unit you use.

David Dave no offense bud but have never had to remove an axle tube from a 9" The only 9" axles I have seen done they just cut iron (Dana) axles ....
Nothing about "Doing a ford 9" " but arc air is how I would remove the weld.

As you can see, the knuckles and adjacent areas could sure use some attention .
I played a bit by mostly grinding down the old mounts and inspected the HPD60 differential internals .
