I'm currently researching .17HMR's. My fiancee hunts with me in the fall, and I've always liked .17's. She doesn't have a good rifle for small game, so I was thinking of giving her my .22 which she loves and picking up a .17 for myself.

I've got a Mueller....
A Savage .17 topped with a Mueller has to be one of the best bargains around for inherent accuracy 93R17 BTVS.
Feeding them Hornady.
Savage 93 series are the most accurate rimfires I have ever had my hands on.

My freind has the boyds tacticool stock on his 93 and it feels great.savage rifles shoot great out of my 93 with a 1lb trigger and pillar beddeding done with a airsoft stock at 50yrds.

Here is a target I shot 3 times review I read included an accuracy....
Hits squirrels so hard up close their head goes away .
I had the 93R BTVS.
Not all of them do it, but mine did.
For in the 93, is that they sometimes suffer from misfires.
