And if it's not the sensor it could be the ABS module under be easily removed on an 8? Remove it and take a look.

During my lunch break at work the lights weren't on until the end of my shift when the ABS and DSC a faulty DSC control ....
To work, I noticed that the ABS and DSC lights came on and my check engine light came on also.
When the dsc module is plugged in the brakes are applied. If I unplug it the brakes are free and they work with the pedal. I have just replaced the head but I did not mess with any of the dsc/abs stuff. Also, the pump over by the master cylinder is constantly...

Any good BMW specialist shop should have the computer necessary to converse with the abs and other modules.
I don't know what an "actron" is, but I'm betting it's an obd2 computers .

These are easy DIYs (never did a brake sensor) and the parts won't cost more than $300 .

If you have INPA or something similar, run that ABS pump manually and see it in action for yourself point.
From the abs pump gets transmitted directly to the valve block which directly transmits it to the module.

Connect one end to the common ground point under your hood on the passenger side beside the intake... .
Take a length of electrical wire with alligator clips on either end .
Have you tried the ground fault test?? If not, then you haven't tried "everything".. .
