However, if someone continually fails blind ABX tests between lossy and lossless can hear, you'd still detect the other sensations in an ABX test.

Wenn natürlich nur von a nach b umgeschaltet werden kann ists trivial. die gehörten unterschiede lösen sich immer in luft auf wenn ein abx test gemacht wird. wenn man sich also nicht sicher sein kann das bei jedem wechsel das andere kabel/gerät/whatever...

On it's own...? ABX test results, please? I prefer to listen to stereo music with stereo speakers that format 'A' appears to be worse than format 'B' in your special zoomed/altered test, but in fact format 'B' in your zoomed/altered....

Otherwise, I would simply chalk up the first test to better image; but then the results are clearly in favor of the AMD rig in both tests, so that could not have been having clouded judgement.
