One of the ADSL filters provided with the broadband package i got from bt seems to be faulty.
when a phone is connected to the filter there is no dial tone.
The other adsl filter is working fine though.
How do i get the faulty one replaced?

you can contact the helpdesk who might be able to send you a replacement, but i'm not sure they are covered under warrenty,
If there not you will need to purchase a new one, I belive they are about £2-£3 at most from maplins PC world etc... .

Looks like they've got stock again.
Not sure if the free delivery is intended, or a glitch in their google checkout process.
My order was delivered (took 5 working days), and the glitch still exists - so maybe it's intentional.

Don't cheap out on an adsl filter, a high quality at the nte5 and so the adsl router is connected to this face plate (see pic) and so only buy if you can within the plug in filter....
Voted hot or price but wouldn't buy.

The other day my home adsl modem/router (dwg 684t in this case) died. A guy from the telecom company came, brought another so no problem in day to day operation, but he also left this one.
Now, I'm interested ... it didn't fall, it wasn't electrocuted...
