Last weekend I fixed my exhaust leak on the Bronco. The leak was actually the EGR air tube under the intake.
Here are some pics of the damage and what the PO did to "try" to fix it.

Hey all,
Probably just a quick question, (hopefully).
Can you pass emissions with both !EGR & !AIR?
I'm pretty sure you can pass with !AIR because that is only used at startup, but how about EGR? (I'm not so familiar with EGR...)
I also know you have ...

Anyone? if they do a visual you may fail, did you change over your intake using the ls6 or other intake? and as far as a visual they would really have to know what and if your year was an option .

That's if the EGR doesn't block itself before hand and in the open position, not something you want to happen
Don't forget there is a huge difference....
The way it is heading now soon you will need a masters degree in electronics to bypass the EGR.

Correct the other one I had was to do with... .
You have access to a 95 engine with EGR, but you aren't sure what to do about the EGR.
If I understand this correctly (and I'm not sure I do) the non-EGR 91 engine in your B2 threw a rod.

EGR valve - where is it? (1.5D) Hi all,
I've got a 1.5 diesel, and as part of a regular service I thought it would be a good idea to give the EGR valve a clean. Only problem is, I haven't a clue where it is!
Can anyone explain where the EGR valve is on...

EGR Blanking plates
has any one had any experience with EGR blanking plates do they work? or are they a scam? it says it improves your car with a smoother running engine, faster turbo spool up, and a cleaner pick up at lower revs

You can disable the EGR just by unplugging the vacuum feed (plug the feed with a screw) which will give you the same effect provided the EGR....
It won't give you a noticeable benefit it terms of performance unless your EGR is faulty.
