The 8200M can also use shared memory so it's not that bad .
For $380 that's definitely a steal.
If you want to play WoW at a decent resolution, you won't be too happy with this one .
The nVidia GeForce 8200M isn't exactly gaming material.

Check on Asus's website, the board should support upto X2 6400+ (3.2 Ghz) CPU.

I'm having a problem with my AMD Athlon X2 6000, I know it's an older processor and way dated but I'm low income and just got this setup. I have 4GB of Mushkin Blackline DDR2-6400 4-4-4-12 2.1v RAM, an Asus M4A78-Pro motherboard, and my cooler keeps temperatures...

And if it supported an athlon II x2 gone that way up the chain.
I would have just flashed your mobo bios to altest revision .
That takes me back...

If you check Toms Hardware CPU charts it should show any weak point between the two ... .
It may just "feel" different.
The 5000 is 2.6 and the 4800 is 2.5.
There is not much difference between the two.
