BUT when I was your age (I'm 17 now) I was going to buy ankle weights but they are best for walking, legWell your still young to be adding weights to your legs .

I walk 5 miles everyday at a good pace. If i were to add some ankle or hand weights to the walk how would it impact my walk as far as burning off calories? Any help that I can get would be a great help.

So I just ordered my new weight vest, so I can keep up with fitness while I have to keep low key so I can care for Gibson.
It's a MiR 140 lb Weighted Vest, and I got free ankle and wrist weights with it... should make Gibson's short walks a tad more intense...
