Unfortunately AT&T is notorious for using a crappy audio codec from AT....

So it would be the last 4 digits of my SSN instead of the 4 digit number I use to log into my GoPhone account? (they're different)
I called AT&T, told them I was porting....
Unless you change it, the GoPhone pin is the last 4 of your SSN.

Any phone without the AT&T 3G bands and only the AT&T GSM bands will use GSM if you're going with AT&T you'll want a device that can take full advantage of their network.

I just switched from T-Mobile to at&t gophone ($50 unlimited) because I wanted to get 3G (was sick of edge with t-m).
I am using a jailbroken iphone 4 with redsn0w.
Version: 4.3.5 (8L1)
I got the sim to work using a Gevey sim and the 3G icon appears...
