I just got an ATV and plan to put it to good use hauling wood from where a tractor/truck won't fit.
Just curious what types of trailers you guys out there are using.
Dimensions, wheel/tire sizes, homemade or manufactured?

I don't have an ATV but I borrow my neighbor's ATV trailer and tow it with my yard tractor the ATV trailer that is in Cabelas..

Getting started on an ATV trailer, which hopefully will also be roadworthy for towing behind a light auto.
Planning on a 4'X6' bed with side-posts, open on both ends so 4'X8' materials can be hauled with some overhang.
Axle is salvaged from a 200x Voyager...

4X6 with a atv/deck above the tires could get a little hairy at highway speeds.....
That is simply wrong.
I've seen trailers that were built and if you put an atv on them, they are light on the tongue.
The axle is places is the load.

Looking for input on a "meat wagon" type trailer. I've used one very little and with the whole family going this year, we'll just have too much stuff to strap on racks (particularly if we score) and I don't want to purchase a second machine for the little...

Thought I would post up a few pics of my tandem axle ATV timber hauling trailer
the "tub" is removable allowing the trailer to be used for hauling long lengths of timber up to 8ft long.

I researched several manufacturers designs of similar trailers, watched videos of them rough terrain - if the axles were further....
The trailer is un hitched, but when on the atv it is fine - the load is carried quite well over terrain.
