Volevo provare Karspersky antivirus nella versione trial. Disinstallo
AVG8. Provo l'installazione dell'altro antivir ma continua a dirmi che
c'e' installato AVG8! Ho usato anche Wise Registry Cleaner 3 ma nulla,
Karspersky dice ho installato AVG8 e non...

Neither of which have to to with Microsoft or Windows/Windows XP other than
they both can be used on said platform.

The Admin console you'll find a SQL database called avg8, and if you run the query:
select * from avgI don't have an answer other than to say that the AVG client sometimes fails to write scan results but the server doesn't.

FYI
Not to worry. This happens occasionally with AVG. Eventually the update will
load and install. I've never seen it out for more than a couple hours if at all.
It's really no biggie. AVG Free works great for me.
