I personally didn't get into VMs until I had atleast a dual-core system and lots of RAM .
VM's share all the hardware components of your system so when a vm is running there's two systems accessing your hardware instead of one .

At the dashboard make sure you sign out first. Then start to install your game. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps anyone that is unable to install ncaa 12 to the Xbox
