Abortion should be legal. This is the only logical conclusion I can come to after evaluating three separate approaches to the issue.

I've just read this great article by Eleanor Cooney about how unsafe it was in the US to get an abortion before Roe v Wade. It really brought home to me that banning abortion does not stop abortions happening, but it can stop desperate people from dying...
