The card was working wirelessly & with a direct connection.
We upgraded the Hard Drive and the system now has Windows Vista on it. The computer will connect to the network via cable...

Please take my advice do not update to acer 5315 bios update version 1.45 if I call in I have 4 of these 5315, Acer computers all four have THE SAME PROBLEM , I have installed all on an aspire ....

Le probleme c'est qu'elle a eu son portable sans antivirus de pré-installer.

Nouvelle venue sur Ubuntu, je lis la doc concernant mon PC ( Acer Aspire 5315 ), et stupeur! je vois une mise en garde stipulant que le ventilateur ne se remet pas en route après une mise en veille ou une hibernation...ceci du au bios...

Euh c'est quoi ton ne fonctionne plus sur mon Acer 5315 donc il s'arrete seul car il chauffe.
Oublié de préciser que j'ai un Acer 5315 et que j'ai totalement supprimé Vista.
