Hello,
I have completed a 36 cell panel with acetone cure silicone sealant on the back and edges of the solar cells. Having gone through the process of making the panel, I'm thinking of alternatives that can be used for weatherproofing the solar cells...

There is another variety of silicone called "neutral cure" with no acetic acid, I think it uses material and then sealing the back with normal acetic cure silicone sealant.

Screw acetic anhydride I saw a post in a thread recently about nicomorphine, the dinicotinate ester of morphine.
Somebody mentioned the fact that, well, literally tons of esters of morphine with relatively simple carboxylic acids could be made.
This is...

They're acetic anhydride Idk that buying ANY carboxylic acid anhydride would raise red flags.
Benzoic acid groups are very very lipophilic -- better than acetic acid groups in heroin.

Do not use malt vinegar - it also contains acetic acid but will smell and
stain.
You can use it to
neutralise care.
White vinegar is basically acetic acid and water.

My garden's soil ph is way too high and I know adding sulfur will lower it by slowly allowing soil bacteria to turn it to sulfuric acid. Has anyone added say 1-2% acid to water to acidify the soil faster? I worry about burning plant stems or roots.

Calculate the pH of a solution made by adding 1.000 mol of CH 3 COONa and 0.500 mol of HCl to water and diluting to 1.000 L. K A for CH 3 COOH is 1.8 x 10 -5 . Hint: if we mix the CH 3 COO - and H + how much CH 3 COOH do we produce ?

- it would mean....
HCl is a strong acid and CH 3 COO is not a correct answer to 2.
More strong acid the weak base will be consumed and more acetic acid will be produced the CH 3 COO - and H + how much CH 3 COOH do we produce ?".
