Calculate the concentration of acetic acid in a solution if 50cm 3 of that solution were diluted to 1000cm 3 . From the obtained solution 10cm 3 were used and diluted to 100cm 3 . For the titration of 20cm 3 of this solution 12.5cm 3 of NaOH, whose 25...

Acetic acid (vinegar) is an acid, zinc (Zn) is a metal.I should get a good reaction. I tried to observe the reaction but could not find any gas. Is it too weak acid to produce 1 bubble of hydrogen? Is there any condition to hold the reaction.

I know acid chlorides and any anhydride you form are usually very reactive, but why, what makes these species so reactive?
