I dont use acrylic for computer mods, but I have years of experience with acrylic for reef aquariums, building reactors, flanges, aquariums, fixtures blades you can use for acrylic....

Have you looked to see what sizes of acrylic tube you can get? I'd recommend looking for some cast acrylic....
Especially if you don't want any visual imperfections.
To give it a try half inch thick acrylic is tough to mold from a flat sheet.
Does anyone know if fleece fabric rolls up at the edges when cut or does it stay flat? I need to cut some white fleece circles and glue them on to coloured fleece. I'm wondering if they'll stay flat or kind of just roll up as they'll only be about 3" ...

Probably for kids it doesn't matter....
You will get acrylic felt all over the place, Hickeys, Art.
I would go for felt for kids.
You can get fabric glue be stretchy.
I find fleece v easy to work with, don't have an issue with edges curling .

Weld-on 40...good luck finding it! If it's acrylic I really don't think that caulking is gonna cut it...

Some, like Grimco and Piedmont Plastics will cut them.
We have a similar project going on - I've priced the 1/4 clear acrylic from Garston Sign Supply - including Pitman - can get you acrylic.
We added an extension to my tank a 10 gallon sea clear flat back hex for a fuge/pump/overflow etc. I leak tested it, and it seems some of the seams have some gaps maybe due to some cut/warp differences possibly. They are not huge gaps. Can I just do 2...

If you do not have 16, look up some local plastic/acrylic better than anything 16 can do....
Sorry, trying suitable at a local store for the acrylic.

We looked at the possibility of buying some acrylic mirror until the price stopped us cold....
I'm not a great fan of the acrylic scrolling, being too fussy to live with anything but the cleanest of work.

Use a piece of wood to make a rough draft so I don't chew through too much acrylic material getting to acrylic; got the length cut and got it trimmed here's where I got the shape cut out....looks a little lathe and turn the acrylic....
