Hey everyone .
I`m an IMG with the following credentials :
-Step 1 : 206 2nd attempt .: Can`t focus long enough on computerized tests .
-CS: 1st attempt . Took me a couple of nights to prepare for it .
-CK: yet to be taken .
-15 months of private family...

If you're an FMG (not IMG), are you looking exam (American Board of Surgery)....
Standardized tests" excuse since you'll have to take the ABSITE every year as a General Surgery as a General Surgery resident...this is now on computer.

And they try to reconstruct your face or whatever to look like it did before the accident .
After accidents etc.
Plastic surgery is usually reconstructive surgery ...

I am posting this thread out of sheer curiosity so please forgive me if it is a dumb question. Do Emergency Medicine Physicians actually perform surgery or do they mostly just perform noninvasive procedures? If so, how much time do they actually spend...

Probably the closest we come to surgery is performing ED/emergent thoracotomies.
We put.
Chest Tubes, thoracotomy, crics.
No "surgery" per se but we do perform invasive procedures.
