I can't stand listening to conventional radio because I can't stand listening to ads. (The same goes for TV, where commercials are 200% louder than what you are trying to watch.)
Unfortunately, my wife needs to listen to the radio while getting ready ...

Do you have ad blockers on your browsers, I don't at the moment but was thinking about it although ads can be a bit of a pain I think that I will be able to put up with them.

However, I don't use an ad-blocker because person is expected to dutifully consume and absorb, without putting up a fight.
Sometimes a video is shorter than the advert.

Some of us are perfectly happy using good-ole' Internet Explorer, (I still maintain if any of the other browsers were decent, Microsoft would do what they do and either buy them out or steal the idea, though Opera 9 on the Wii is quite innovative, lol...

The IE pop-up blocker, by default, only allows (not sure if that was back-....
EDIT: I just realized that you probably are using a blank ('') window of using popups), which is considered a better practice .
The popup blocker for that zone.

Looking at the extensions gallery for Chromium there seems to be a number fo flash-blocking extensions available:

Another Chrome port that contains a built-in ad-blocker is SRWare's Iron (there seems to be no way to add new sites to this whitelist, or remove existing ones.) You might use an ad-blocker for Chrome....

Can anyone help, i have a popup that is being blocked .. it is a popup that is created because somebody has clicked on a Print picture on my site... I thought IE is not supposed to block these when the popup came via an onclick?

Mel I liked the ad blocker in 2007 webbrowsers have a good ad -and pop up blocker these days.
If you use ff, i highly recommend it.
And plenty of configuration.

Can I get a recommended ad blocker for IExplorer please, similar to the one in Firefox.I've found several via google but not sure what is safe or not. I'm still prefering to use Internet Explorer but haven't upgraded to 9 yet, as waiting until its offered...

I didn't realise InPrivate browsing filtered out ads and other things though so will investigate that some more.

Flash Blocker OK well right after i updated my Java . i keep notice some of the ads where grayed out with a big circle and a pay button arrow in the middle that didn't bother me at all. So after a while i decided to go to grooveshark to play some music...

I think it works fairly good.
I use a popup blocker called noads.
