I am new to the reloading world and I just got my equipment for reloading the other day. I am starting by reloading for my full size Beretta PX4 .40. And I am a little overwhelmed with the choices of powders, bullets, primers...etc. Anyone have recommendations...

True jacketed bullets work....
Berrys round nose bullets are a great choice.
They work just like FMJ's up to a certain velocity and use FMJ load data .
Bullets: IMHO plated bullets are the way to go for consistency and economy.

With the 1 in 7, 1 in 8, and 1 in 9 twist, what bullet weights work best with what twist ?

In .22s, the lighter bullets - 35 to 40 grains to stabilize longer bullets....
As Adamantium said, one can have a twist too fast for a given bullet.
Grains is about as heavy as .22 caliber bullets go, to my recollection.
