Try un checking "Register this connection's addresses in DNS" in the other IP address setting tab hostnames map to the correct ip address and the website is listening on that address then it will serve.
I have a DNS server that has multiple host records that share IP addresses. I have scavenged the server and it didn't work. Is there an automated process that would be able to delete these host records no longer in use? Thanks!!

Lacking a better solution at this point.
A DNS record must get through its no-refresh interval, then pass its refresh interval (without being refreshed) before scavenging can remove the record.

If you point your NS records to your hosting company's DNS servers by IP address, if those addresses change....

I completely take out the MX entry or ISP issue, not a problem with the function .
It could be that the domain simply does not have a MX record.
