Pentosan Inquiry Back in March of 2011 a poster had asked the question about trying Pentosan instead of Adequan or Legend. I don't think it got answered though. I see it's available in the US with a prescription but not in Canada. Pentosan polysulfate is licensed in Canada... Another Pentosan thread - where does it work it's majik? I started my horse on this, and he is much more steady in the bridle. Back feels wonderful, and he has always been a horse who carries tension through the back (big, long, hotter OTTB, loin a weak point in this horse). I'd like to attribute some of this... Mine does okay on Adequan, but there's something about it that I just don't love... Legend didn't help him so I put him through a course of adequan lately and I think that is good to say.
