Take GAD test before starting insulin? I read that you should do the GAD test before starting insulin.. is this correct? Husband's endo did not tell him to wait on the insulin.

As a side-note: Since your husband will be using....
The GAD is a tool used to determine by adding insulin to their therapy.
You do not need to have a GAD test to begin using insulin.
