I did my test 32 years ago .. I have to admit I actually relearnt a lot when I did a Porsche Precision Driving day a few years ago.. so got thinking about a "Advanced Driving test" such as the http://www.iam.org.uk/

RS4, you will learn how to read the road and be more aware than the average driver, imho it's not worthwhile being a paid up member though....

A compiler or a driver or such like that, as hard as it is in its own right, is a different beast than should try to get the chance to work together with 'expert' programmers ('expert' being 'more advanced than advanced').

Personally I don't see the need to understand X any... .
I've found Xs documentation is best in its manpages.
Outside of that I'd just read through as many manpages as possible for all the configuration files and programs .
Good old Wikipedia might well help.

They're extremely different languages; despite the fact that they share a lot of syntax, "proper" C++ is written very very differently from "proper" C, and in my experience being good at one actually ends up hurting you... .

We are having big problems just with this particular adapter in our environment. We are getting intermittent dropouts. The connection will freeze and stop responding to the point where you have to do a windows repair or restart the adapter to get it working...
