I would use caution using a Mercury prop.
I believe hubs are the only differences between engine manuf .
My 150HO has a Mercury Offshore prop, they work fine.
E-TEC has the M2 MAGNUM gear case.

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a way to hold open my carbon hood. The stock hood shocks are too stiff and I'm afraid they will fatigue the mounting points. I'm currently using a cut dow rod but I'm sure someone has an idea to mount and secure a prop rod. Ideas...

Try to heat the prop of aftermarket parts.
A torch and penetrating oil are good to use if it wont come off .
You need the proper prop removal tool to grab the impeller, you have a few different options once to replace it with.

So the time, gas milage avg, remaining gas, etc will be all gone? there is no way to splice any wires and had that work along... .
If you've got a separate harness, you'll retain the climate control display, but the left side will no longer display anything .
