I'm sure that others with more experience will pipe up but I would definitely talk to the vet about and maybe make a little list of anything else you think of.

Vet options for Spay ??? Okay.... I have 3 different options for spay in my city. 1 is a cheap clinic, 1 is a regular vet clinic, and 1 is a speciality vet clinic.
The cheap clinic is okay at best*wouldn't recommend taking cats there to get declawed as...

I am planning to do human med after vet med but i'm wondering if this would be overkill?
i know a few lecturers in my school are trained in both vet/human medicine on top of having a phd. but i have never got a chance to talk to them yet...
