I seem to be losing a few fry each day.They are just over a week old.I am thinking it may be from my water changes.I am using the parents tank water to put in the fry tank each day(50%).Should I be using aged water instead?How aged does the water have...

I use water straight from the tap and dechlorinator.
It may be that using the parents' tank water is causing the problem.

I used to buy started carrying USDA prime, sometimes dry-aged.

Unless you are aerating the water, I suggest that you should age water that is necessary for the next WC.
Some bros age the water for at least 2 days to allow the chlorine to evaporate.
