Alright, so I treated myself to a new computer for Christmas. Windows7 64-bit, yada yada yada. Uninstalled Norton Security using Windows7 uninstall program, installed Microsoft Security Essentials in it's place. From a cold boot, I still get the screen...

After a recent upgrade of Norton Security, I keep getting the message on entry to a website - "Norton Confidential has crashed" and Chrome and Vista generally running very slow has anyone got a fix?

I downloaded mbam-clean and ran it. I then downloaded mbam and it says that my database is 31 days old "do you want to update?" I say yes and it gets an error "PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (0,0, i/o error).

Why make a anti virus programme that uses almost a gigabyte of hardiscspace, dosent take spyware and slows ur system down???
I have been downloading a lot of shit in my time, and got a lot of viruses. I used norton for a wile, but the viruses comes anyway...

I agree completely - downloaded the newest version of Norton a couple of months ago and my older a full refund.

It's all well and good that Comcast updated Norton for Firefox 12 compatibility today, but what about updating Norton 360 to version 6.2.0.10 (2012) that came out on Norton's forum 03-23, not to mention updates to version 6 already out?
